PointCentral 8.1
includes changes to the Rules conditions and increased
character limits in the Cardex Notes field. The
reporting output character limit for Page 5 of
the Loan Application was also increased to provide
more inclusive database storage and reporting.

For Point users:
- Close Point if it is open.
- Click here to start the download (file size 128 KB).
- A File Download - Security Warning window may appear, click Run.
- When the download completes, an Internet Explorer Security Warning window may appear, click Run.
- From the Point Electronic Update window, click Next.
- From the Point Electronic Update - Directory window, click Next.
- Click Start to begin the update.
- Click Exit to finish.

- Click here to start the download (file size 128 KB).
- Save the Mrkt_Templates.exe file to the server where your Point Data Server (PDS) is installed.
- From the server double-click on the Mrkt_Templates.exe file to start the installer.
- From the Open File – Security Warning window, click Run.
- From the Marketing Letters Update screen, click Next.
- Click the ellipsis (…) button.

Browse to the Calyx Default Template Set on your data server, and then click OK.
For Example: C:\Program Files\Calyx Software\Point Data Server\filesync\Calyx\Calyx-Default (this path will be located in your PDS install directory)
- From the Marketing Update window, click Next.
- Click Start to begin the installation.

Click Exit to finish.
- When all of the files have been copied to the Calyx Default Template Set, login to your PDS Administration site.
- From the left menu, go to Configuration > Template Set Maintenance > Copy Template Set.
- Select Custom Forms, Reports, and the Rebuild Template Set after copy checkbox.
- From the Destination Template Set(s) screen, check the template sets to which the marketing templates will copy.
(Users must logout and log back into Point to access the new marketing templates.)
