Point 7.5, release date (December 1, 2011), contains several compliance updates and new functionality to support the Uniform Loan Delivery Data (ULDD) and Uniform Appraisal Data (UAD) format requirements.
New screen layouts have also been introduced that take advantage of a wider workspace. Some sections in certain screens have been re-arranged and updated to display more information for ease of use.
Borrower Information Screen Layout
All borrower information has been grouped together and the subject property address is moved below the present address. The credit scores are also now a part of the screen rather than hidden by a button.
The Loan Summary fields have been reorganized, allowing you to enter information more efficiently. Income, housing expenses, and other obligations are now on the screen rather than being hidden by a popup dialog.
GFE Service Provider List Screen Update
The GFE Service Provider List screen functionality has been redesigned to improve usability. Buttons have been added next to each service, making it easier to enter each provider and printing them on the form.
Loan Application Screen Layout
The loan application has a few changes, such as, an increased width for the Former Employer, Assets, Liabilities, and the Schedule of Real Estate Owned. The wider sections allow you to see more information instead of having to open each entry.
Uniform Loan Data Delivery (ULDD) Export
Point 7.5 Beta includes new fields for the Uniform Loan Data Delivery Format as required by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Several fields have been added to the Banker > Shipping screen to accommodate the ULDD requirements.
An export button has been added to the Banker > Shipping screen to export the Point file data to the required ULDD format. An export feature has also been added to the menu bar within a loan file by selecting File > Export > Fannie Mae ULDD, Freddie Mac ULDD, or Combined ULDD.
The export to ULDD feature will generate the required MISMO XML 3.0 standard format for you to save on your computer and import into the other system.
